At the aegis of Assam Gramin vikas Parisad cutting and tailoring Programme for Inmates is currently going on at Central Jail Nagaon.
Manufactory Unit : There is a Manufactory Unit in The Central Jail Nagaon consisting weaving section and bamboo and allied products Section where Skilled and Semi Skilled inmates were engaged in making of different types of products.
Products of Weaving Section : Prisoners Clothing, Gamucha ( different shapes, sizes and styles),
Bamboo and allied products Section: *Different kinds of products such as pasi, Khorahi, Dola and Murha (made of bamboo & plastic) of different shapes and sizes & Floor mates and Hand Bags etc (made of Jute) .
