Work/ Services Under the Office :- Enforcement and implementation of various Labour Laws and facilitating benefits to the working classes and providing justice under the Acts. The Assistant Labour Commissioner as Commissioner to adjudicate Compensation under Employees Compensation Act, 1923 with the vested capacity of a Civil Court.

 Schemes/ Projects :- No schemes/ projects are undertaken by the department. The BOCWW Board is being looked after by Labour Welfare Department to facilitate benefits under the BOCW Act 1996. (Online)
