Strengthen rural economy and alleviation of poverty through scaling up animal husbandry practices. To achieve these following points were under taken:

1. To increase milk production by introducing high yielding germ plasm.
2. To increase meat and egg production.
3. Narrowed the gap of demand and production of animal nutrition for better health of common people / increase the production of animal nutrition for common people.
4. The prevention and relief of animal sufferings through treatment, Vaccination etc.
5. To render extension service in the field of A.H & Vety sector.
6. To create gainful & self-employment opportunities for unemployed youth through vertical and horizontal expansion of livestock and poultry sector.Public health, food safety, and control of Zoonotic and emerging disease.
