Batadrawa Than
The Batadrawa Than, also known as Bordowa Than, the birthplace of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva (1449-1568) the great Vaisnavite saint of Assam, founded by him in 1494 A.D. The Than holds immense importance for Vaishnav followers of Assam.Mahapurush Sankardeva founded the first ever Kirtan Ghar at Bordowa to practice and preach neo Vaishnavite faith during fifteenth century in Assam and propagated the EK SARAN NAAM DHARMA .A unique feature with novel design of Namghar and Monikut, a mass-praying place in the villages of Assam is also the creation of Sankardeva.The devotees of Mahapurush Srimanta Sankardeva and followers of Vaishnavite philosophy use to visit Barduwa daily from all over Assam in a large number. People believe Bordowa Than as the “Dwitiya Vaikuntha”, the second heaven on earth. A huge pond “Akashiganga” and another pond “Santijan” too are the places of attraction of the devotees. A very big festival "Doul Mohotsava" (Holi) is a yearly attraction for the devotees in Bordowa. The festival is an assembly of more than lakh of devotees from Assam and NE India.The Assam Tourism department has 3 nos of cottage, and 2 nos of dormitory for devotees to stay within the Than campus which are maintained by the Than committee.

Chapanala Picnic Spot
It is famous for Champawati Waterfall also known as the Chapanala Falls, a natural water fall coming down from the Champawati Kunda. It is enriched with scenic beauty and a place of attraction for the nature- lovers and other visitors. The waterfall along with the tea Gardens and small hills around it is a place of importance for flora and fauna. Birds of different species along with some migratory Birds too are visible in certain season of the year.It is a popular Picnic spot. The Kunda Mela is organized on the following day of Swarswati puja which attracts huge numbers of visitors to Chapanala.

Baduli Khurung
Baduli Khurung is a historical cave. The cave is inhabited by thousands of bats of different species . For anyone who likes adventure tourism the place is an attractive spot to travel. It is said that the devotees’ prayers are fulfilled when they light an earthen lamp with a sacred mind here. It has different local myths on the bats in the cave. The famous Baduli mela is celebrated every year after two days of Maha Shivaratri and the entrance to the Baduli Khurung i;e; the entrance of the Cave is opened for the visitors during the mela.

Silghat Trishuldhari
Silghat Trishuldhari, a temple dedicated to lord Shiva is situated on the southern bank of the River Brahmaputra. The major attraction of the temple is the fact that it is 2000 years old. It is believed that whoever comes to seek blessings here has his or her wish granted and also lives a prosperous life. The Trishuldhari Silghat Temple gives a panoramic view of the river Brahmaputra and is like a mini paradise for the nature lovers and photographers. Not only do people visit the temple for Lord Shiva but also visit it to seek the blessings of Maa Kamkhya. It is also a famous picnic spot. People come to this place to enjoy the view of the Silghat hills, Jute Mill, Kamakhya Dewalaya and spend some quality time on the bank of river Brahmaputra. The best time to visit the temple is from October to April. The Ashok Ashtami mela is celebrated in first week of April every year near the Maa Kamakhya temple.

Hatimura
Hatimura is a very beautiful place full of natural beauties with hills on the river bank of mighty Brahmaputra. It is famous for the hindu temple "Shaktipith" (Goddess Mahishamardini) which was built during the reign of Ahom king Pramatta Singha in 1745 A.D. A must visit place for history buffs as the temple provides a rare glimpse into the Ahom Kingdom and its legacy. It is a beautiful picnic spot.

Bharali Naamghar
Bharali Naamghar is situated at Hatbar, Bharali village. As the history goes this Namghar was burnt down during Burmese invasion of Assam and was rebuilt by the local people. One interesting fact of this Namghar is that the ‘laikhuta’, the main pillar is made from Tulsi tree (Holy Basil). One belief is that if you pray for a wish, your prayer won’t go unanswered. Magh Purnima or Makar Sankranti is considered as a very auspicious day and scores of people gather here to pray. Spirituality lies in the sound of Doba and Borkaah(instruments to play during prayer) that removes the negative power and welcomes the positivity. To perform ‘Naam-Prasanga'(communal prayer) and ‘Bhaona' (theatrical performance) in Sankar Jayantee and Madhab Janyantee is a rich tradition in Bharali Naamghar.

Amsoi
An enthralling waterfall called the Sivakunda Waterfall is located here and surrounded by forests mainly of Assam teak and Sal. The waterfall is well known for its amazing scenic beauty obstructed by the rocks of the hill, the milky white water gushes down to a small and serene pool of water. There is also a bridge on the fall, from where the enchanting route of the water can be observed. The place is also well known as a picnic spot and people gather on the spot to make merry especially during the winter.

Bura Chapori Wildlife Sanctuary
Bura Chapori Wildlife Sanctuary is geographically located on the south bank of the Brahmaputra, but under Sonitpur district. It is a part of the Laokhowa-Burachapori eco-system and comprises of a mosaic of wet alluvial grassland, riparian and semi-evergreen forests dotted by wetland and river system. This sanctuary covers an area of 44.06 sq.km. and is home to the Great Indian one-horned rhinoceros, tiger, leopard, wild buffalo, hog deer, wild pig and elephants. Bura Chapori's bird list on the other hand includes the highly endangered Bengal Florican, Black-necked Stork, Mallard, Open billed Stork, Teal and Whistling Duck among others. The grassland is also rich in various kinds of medicinal herbs and plants. Several wetlands within the wildlife sanctuary also make it an ideal breeding place for several species of migratory birds during the winter season.

Ranthali
Ranthali village is famous for making/producing Assamese Traditional Gold Plated ornaments. Ranthali, a cluster of a few villages is thickly populated. Almost 90% of the total families residing in the village are engaged in making of Assamese Traditional Gold Plated ornaments.

Maha Mrityunjay Temple
Maha Mrityunjay Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Hindu God Shiva situated on Ververi Gosaingaon, Nagaon. This Temple is newly constructed and was completed in February 2021. The temple with various features made of unique structures is reportedly the world's largest 126-feet-tall Shivalinga.

Lung Chung

Jungal Balahu
Jungal Balahu was the son of king Arimatta, the Tiwa King.
He was a brave warrior and lots of legendary myth prevailed on the strength of Jungal Balahu. Jungal Balahu set up his temporary capital at this site to fight with the enemies by constructing a high embankment overnight.This site is known as Jungal Balahu Garh. A big departmental fishery with multiple ponds is a hub of pisciculture.
Recently a statue of the great Tiwa king, brave warrior Jungal Balahu was erected at Jongal Bolohu Garh. The statue is now another attraction for tourists.

Samaguri Beel
Samaguri Beel is a wetland located about 25 km away from Nagaon town. The word beel means a lake like wetland . The Samaguri Beel was formed by the changing course of the river Kolong. It is also popularly known as Pokhi Tirtha or Bird Pilgrimage . A variety of migratory birds visits this place during winter from all over the world. The mesmerizing view of the lake is one of the most popular things to see and when the wetland is surrounded by migratory birds then it turns out to be key point of attraction for the visitors.
